Mr. Cornelius Wayne Keith

Mr. Cornelius Wayne Keith, age 81, of Stuart passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born in Floyd County on May 7, 1936 to the late Una Ray Keith and Ida Ethel Boyd Keith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Keith served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of Mayo Mountain Baptist Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Gene Keith of Ararat, Larry Keith of Vesta; and his special caregivers, Pixie and Anthony Johnson of Stuart.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Mayo Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery on Dobyns Rd at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Heath officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
