Mr. Coy W. Hall

Mr. Coy Waitman Hall, age 80 of Ridgeway passed away Friday at Lewis-Gale Memorial Hospital. He was born in Meadows of Dan on June 10, 1930 to the late Wallace O. Hall and Kitty Cruise Hall. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers; Russell Hall, Luther Hall, and Benjamin Hall. Mr. Hall was an Air Policeman with the United States Air Force, attended Conners View Primitive Baptist Church, and had been a truck driver for 40 years.
Surviving are his wife, Lovelene Belcher Hall of the home; one sister, Christine H. Conner of Stuart; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Garland Handy.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Conners View Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Edward Bowman and Donnie Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
