Mr. Craig Allan Bowers

Mr. Craig Allan Bowers Age 62 of 18 Clearview Dr. Cana, VA. passed away Monday August 1, 2011 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Winston Salem. Mr. Bowers was born February 26, 1949 in McKeesport, PA. to the late Joseph and Audrey Rossner Bowers, he was a retiree and steel mill worker, was of the Baptist faith and was an avid motorcycle rider. Surviving are his wife Sherry Stuart Bowers of the home, two daughters and sons in law Kerry Bowers Landon and husband Jeff of Quartz Hills, CA. and Tracie Bowers Ashley and husband Jeremy of Lancaster, CA., two step sons Jason Adam Hackler and Aaron William Hackler both of Cana, six grandchildren Kasiri Landon, Kenna Landon, Easton Landon, Isaak Ashley, Nick Ashley and Addison Ashley, one sister and brother-in-law Linda and Ron Large of Hampton, VA., several nieces and nephews and by a special friend Charlie See of East Palestine, OH. A memorial service will be held Thursday August 4, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Tim Crotts. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 pm until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy and also at their home in Cana, VA.
