Mr. Curtis Leon Clark, 73, of Stuart passed away Thursday evening at his home. He was born on October 7, 1937 in Patrick County to the late Claude Swanson and Lena Adams Clark and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter; Anna Caroline Clark.
Mr. Clark had served in the Army during the Vietnam conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post 105 for over 31 years and retired from Bassett Furniture.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 49 years; Anita Turner Clark, a daughter and son-in-law; Lisa Clark Luther and husband, James of Fieldale, VA, two sons and daughters-in-law; Lee Clark and wife, Sandra of Roanoke, VA, and Jeff Clark and wife, Kate of Chesterfield, VA, 6 grandchildren; Cary-Grace Clark, Andrew Clark, Brooke Clark, Zack Clark, Jacob Clark and Cody Luther.
Funeral services for Mr. Clark will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Ross Harbour United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandra Wright officiating. Burial will be at the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Ross Harbour United Methodist Church.
