Mr. Curtis Ray Keene

Mr. Curtis Ray Keene, age 69 of Woolwine, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. He was born in Henry County on December 8, 1945 to the late Ravis Curtis Keene and Sarah Anne Sheffey Keene Clark. In addition to his parents, Mr. Keene was preceded in death by two sons, Ravis Ray Keene, Davis Blaine Keene; two sisters, Wilma Clark, Anita Clark; and his step father, Kester Clark. He was a retired auto mechanic.

Mr. Keene is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Betty Keene of Reidsville, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Kristen Keene, Kristy Keene, Kurt Keene; and three sisters, Joyce Elgin and Bessie Weber, both of Stuart, and Janice Joyce of Rocky Mount.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Revs. Charles Taylor and Kriss Foley officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
