Mr. Curtis Goodman Morrison

Mr. Curtis Goodman Morrison, age 70 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at R. J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart. He was born in Henry County on July 2, 1936 to the late Leonard Goodman Morrison and Addie Lee Harbour Morrison. In addition to his parents, Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Delano Lee Morrison. He had been a security guard at Bassett Furniture Industries and Fieldcrest Cannon Mills, and was a member of Jesus Saves Baptist Church.
Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rorrer Morrison of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna Lynn and Larry Fain of Stuart; two sons, Curtis Delano Morrison and Ricky Dwayne Morrison, both of Stuart; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Morrison will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Jesus Saves Baptist Church with Pastor Delmas Rorrer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Jesus Saves Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements.
