Mr. Danny Hawks

Mr. Charles Daniel “Danny” Hawks, 64, of Pine Ridge, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2017 at his home. He was born in Surry County on May 22, 1953 to the late Billy Gray Hawks and Barbara Jean “Bobbie” Lawson Hawks. Mr. Hawks was retired from Cross Creek Apparel after many years of service. Left to cherish his memory is a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Crystal Hawks; his precious grandson, John Douglas Brady Hawks; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Grey Lynn Holbrook, and Haley and Jason Cassell; brother, James Stewart Hawks; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma Jean Hull Hawks; a brother-in-law, Michael Holbrook. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is serving the Hawks family.
