Mr. David Brian Meadows

Mr. David Brian Meadows, 56 of Mount Airy, passed away on January 15, 2017 at his home. Mr. Meadows was born in Surry County on June 14, 1960 to the late Rev. Lee O. Meadows and Betty Lou Smith Meadows. He was a long-term and construction superintendent of RPM and Associates of Chattanooga, TN. He was an avid Tar Heels fan and his favorite pastime was riding his Harley Davidson. Mr. Meadows was the loving husband to Lorrie Danielle Rushing Meadows; father to two daughters and a son-in-law, Tenielle and Josh Jarrell; Brennan Meadows; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Corey and Kasey Meadows, Trevor Meadows; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ronnie Hardy; “Papa David” to Jansen Jarrell and Carson Meadows, a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Cheryl Meadows. In addition to his parents, Mr. Meadows was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Easter and an infant sister, Karen Meadows. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home with Dr. Darrell Tate officiating. A private burial will follow later. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
