Mr. Dennis Allan Hamm

Mr. Dennis Allan Hamm, age 55 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on July 13, 1951, and was preceded in death by his father, Dillard Hamm, and a brother, Gerald Hamm. He was a member of Vesta Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mr. Hamm is survived by his wife, Barbara Sutphin Hamm of the home; three sons and daughter-in-law, Rodney Dwayne and Lynette Hamm and Richard Dean Hamm, both of Meadows of Dan, and Robert David Hamm of Floyd; one daughter at heart, Britnea Leigh Burnette "Hamm"; one granddaughter, Kimberly Hamm; one grandson, Jesse Hamm; his mother, Ethelyne Boyd Hamm of Meadows of Dan; three brothers, Danny Hamm of Meadows of Dan, Rodney Hamm of Grafton, Virginia, and Jackie Hamm of Meadows of Dan; and one sister, Mary Moles of Floyd.
Funeral services for Mr. Hamm will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rodney Dwayne Hamm and Pastor Cecil Wayne Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamm Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
