Mr. Dewey Noel McAlexander

Mr. Dewey Noel McAlexander, age 66 of Developmental Rd., Stuart passed away Thursday at his home. He was born in Patrick County on Feb. 11, 1941 to the late Noah and Maggie Conner McAlexander. He was retired from International Paper.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie Scott McAlexander of the home; two sons and daughters in law, Curtis and Donna McAlexander of Westfield, NC, Teddy and Jane McAlexander of Stuart; two daughters and son in law, Yalanda Snead of Bahama, NC, Renee and Jamie McAdams of Claudville; 8 grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 3 step great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Cooper of Critz, Beatrice Martin of Patrick Springs; two brothers, Cleat McAlexander of Woolwine, and Davis McAlexander of Collinsville.
There will be a memorial service held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM at True Gospel Baptist Church with Revs. J.R. Shelton, Kelvin Wright, and Jim Churchwell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home, 94 Developmental Rd., Stuart, VA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Patrick County, 835 Woodland Dr. Suite 101, Stuart, VA 24171. Moody Funeral Service in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
