Mr. Donald Franklin "Frank" York

Mr. Donald Franklin “Frank” York, age 47, of Elkin, NC passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was born in Surry County on January 31, 1970 to Shirley Conner and Donald Mathew York. He is also survived by his wife, Beth Ann York of the home; daughter, Tiffani Renee York of Boone; son, Dakota Isaiah York of Elkin; step-son, David Russell Lloyd of Denver, NC; brother, Matthew Howard York of Elkin. He was a certified welder and had worked at Estes Machine Shop. He was a member of Union Cross Baptist Church, and a veteran of the US Army. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday February 24, 2017 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Union Cross Baptist Church cemetery, with full Military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Honor Guard Mount Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Thursday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Unity Presbyterian Church in Denver, NC. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the York family.
