Mr. Donnie Ray Hall

Mr. Donnie Ray Hall, 56, of Pilot Mountain passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Surry County on July 4, 1955 to Robert and Ruby Hudson Hall. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of twelve years, Rosemary Dillman Hall of the home; two daughters, Marlaina Hall and Misty Tate both of Mount Airy; his parents Robert a nd Ruby Hudson of Mount Airy; three grandchildren, Jimmy, Jay and Natasha; two sisters, Judy Hall of Mount Airy and Joyce Boyd of Fancy Gap, VA.; three brothers, Jimmy Hall of New York, Jack Hall of Ararat and Ricky Hall of Mount Airy. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday July 9, 2011 at The Community Church by Rev. Ray Hutson with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11AM until the hour of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donnie Hall Funeral Fund c/o Moody-Davis Funeral Home PO Box 295 Dobson, NC 27017 to assist the funeral expenses.
Even though his sickness prevailed, he was able to enjoy his last earthly vacation with his entire family with days of laughter, fishing and crabbing at the beach. After making peace with God, He would often say:
"IT'S All Good!".
