Mr. Douglas Frank Cowley

Mr. Douglas Frank Cowley, age 82 of Spencer passed away Friday at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born on Oct. 17, 1928 in Corning, NY to the late Thomas Warren Cowley and Helen Lawrence Cowley. He served in the United States Navy; had retired from Prime Lumber; was a member of the Moorefield Store Vol. Fire Department; and was of the Episcopal Faith.
Surviving is his wife, Helen B. Cowley of the home; one daughter, Anne Brennan of Greensboro, NC; two sons, Larry Cowley of Patrick Springs, Michael Cowley of Buffalo Junction; two granddaughters; and six brothers and three sisters in the Dallas, TX area.
A visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. All other services will be private.
