Mr. Douglas Michael Hunter

Mr. Douglas Michael Hunter, age 58, of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Hunter was born in Forsyth County on December 6, 1958, to Dillard and Ethelyn Gammons Hunter. He was a loving husband, son and friend to so many. Those who will always cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Dustie Love Hunter; his daughter, Sidney Hunter, his son, Jonathon Hunter; grandchildren, Lorin Johnson, and Waylon Hunter; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Stewart Pruitt; a brother and sister-in-law, Perry and Kay Hunter; as well as numerous extended family members, friends and support. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by brothers, R. T. Hunter and D. O. Hunter. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Todd Tolbert and Kelly Speer speaking. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
