Mr. Earl Ray Snody

Mr. Earl Ray Snody age 78 of 4140 Westfield Road, Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Nora Brewer Snody passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at his home. He was born February 25, 1934 in Surry County to the late Powell and Allie Arrington Snody. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was retired from Proctor Silex and was a farmer. Mr. Snody was a member of Woodville Baptist Church. .Surviving are his wife. Nora B. Snody of the home, a sister, Frances Jessup, Mt. Airy, NC, several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Snody was preceded in death by a sister, Reva Haymore, and five brothers, Raymond Snody, Otis Snody, G.C. Snody, Frank Snody and Moir Edward (Jack) Snody. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 4, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Keith Love. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Monday until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home.
