Mr. Eddie Arnold Wood

Mr. Eddie Arnold Wood, 65, of Dobson passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 13, 2012. Mr. Wood was born in Surry County on November 9, 1946 to the late Brady and Jesse Edmonds Wood. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 26 years, Beatrice "Ann" Whitaker Wood; seven beloved children; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters and one brother. In addition to his parents, several siblings preceded him in death. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2 pm at Holly Grove Baptist Church cemetery in Lambsburg, VA by the Rev. Jerry King and the Rev. Chuck Elmore with burial to follow. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until time to depart to the graveside.
