Mr. Edward Thurman Leahy

Mr. Edward Thurman Leahy, 70, of Mt. Airy, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Leahy was born in Rocky Hills, CT on January 27, 1943 to Harold and Anna McMore Leahy. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Leahy; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Dan Stuart of New York; sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Leahy, Jr. and Joan Leahy of Hudson Falls, NY, Matthew Leahy and Kimerly Wells of Queensbury, NY, and Gary and Betsy Sanders of Corinth, NY; and a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Patricia Leahy of Bakers Mills, NY. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 5, 2013 from beginning at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date.
