Mr. Edward George Wilson, Sr

Mr. Edward George Wilson, Sr., age 74 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the R. J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Reginald George Wilson and Laura Stephenson Wilson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille E. Wilson; one son, Robert G. Wilson; and three brothers, Walter, Billy and George Wilson. He was retired from the United States Marine Corps where he served in the Korean ad Vietnam Wars, and was a member of the Meadows of Dan VFW.
Mr. Wilson is survived by two daughters, Kelly Ann Hill of Destin, Florida and Debra Lou Oliver of Cocoa Beach, Florida; two sons, Edward George Wilson, Jr. of Stuart and Thomas R. Wilson of Stuart; six grandchildren; and one sister, Evelyn Keating of Pennsylvania.
A private memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at a local family cemetery conducted by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.
