Mr. Elroy Pack

Mr. Elroy Pack, age 88, of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born in Patrick County on March 27, 1929 to the late Robert Lee Pack and Correner Lewis Pack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Arnold and Ricky Pack; one sister, Dorothy Boyd; and five brothers, Robert, John, William, Carl, and Otis Pack. Elroy was a retired truck driver and had served in the US Army.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 62 years, Helen Smart Pack of the home; three daughters, Joann Bowman of Bassett, Carolyn Pack and Tim Lawson of Stuart, Teresa Overby and Robby Hylton of Stuart; six grandchildren, Chasity Foley, Christopher Bowman, Heather Heath and husband, Bradley, Jessica P. Wood, Erika Pack, Harlie Hylton; two sisters, Madeline Marshall of Vesta, Pauline Watkins of Vesta; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Lewis Family Cemetery with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
