Mr. Elwood Davis Mabe

Mr. Elwood Davis Mabe, age 77, of Walnut Cove, NC passed away September 14, 2017. He was born in Stokes County, NC on July 11, 1940 to the late Paul Mabe and Vannie Bennett Mabe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Mabe; two sisters, Alice Bradshaw, Louise Mabe McGee; and a brother, Dave Mabe.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Rani Mabe of Walnut Cove, NC; a step daughter, Melinda Setliff of Germanton, NC; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one sister, Ann Mabe of Danbury, NC; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and close friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Scotty L. Mounce officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Cove Cemetery.
