Mr. English Caryle Rorrer

Mr. English Caryle Rorrer, age 88 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on May 13, 1927 to the late Fred and Fannie Lawless Rorrer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rorrer was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Erik Rorrer; three brothers, Maynard, Buford and Chappy Rorrer; his father-in-law, Joseph Odell Jones and his mother-in-law, Beatrice Martin Jones. He had retired from J. P. Stevens.

Mr. Rorrer is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lottie Jones Rorrer of the home; one son, Mike Rorrer of Stuart; three grandchildren, Toby, Teddy and Jamie Rorrer; eight great-grandchildren, Danny, Asia, Elijah, Taylor, Katelynn, Haley, Austin and Aleigha; and one great-great-grandchild, Keylon Nowlin, two sisters, Hortense Crawford and Maureen Blankenship, both of Collinsville; and one brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Nancy Rorrer of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Greg Martin officiating.
