Mr. Francis "Andy" Andrews

Mr. Francis Eugene "Andy" Andrews age 90 of Spring S., Mt. Airy, NC, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, at his son's home. He was born January 30, 1922, in Henderson, NC, to the late Eugene Huguelet and Daisy Andrews Huguelet Hutchens. He was retired from Central Telephone Company and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, and son-in-law, Pat Ashley and husband Bob, of Durham, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert M. "Bob" Andrews and wife, Sally K. Andrews, Statesville, three grandchildren, Sarah K. Andrews of Raleigh, Robert M. Andrews, II of Durham, and Andrew Ashley of Durham. In addition to his parents, Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Blankenship Andrews A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Steve Lindsley. The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home Chapel.
