Mr. Frank Dye

Mr. Frank Dye, 79, of Cana, VA passed away at his home Thursday, August 10, 2017. He was born in Martin County, KY on October 9, 1937 to the late George and Laura Moore Dye. He is survived by his wife, Louvenia Grimes Dye; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Gail and Thomas Bowman of Cana, VA; two grandchildren, Brandi Dye and boyfriend, Josh Carpenter of Barren Springs, Jennifer and Travis Bevins of Cana, VA, three great grandchildren, Madison Bevins, Colton Bevins and Alyssa Carpenter. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dye was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Dye. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Cockerham officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Dobson. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
