Mr. Gaither Landern McMillion

Mr. Gaither Landern McMillion Age 80 of Galax, VA. passed away Friday April 15, 2016 at his home. Mr. McMillion was born April 5, 1936 in Patrick County, VA. to the late James Lawrence and Nancy Arlene Kemp McMillion. Mr. McMilliion was a retired Electrical Lineman and was a member of Fancy Gap United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife Laura Lane McMillion of the home, one daughter and son-in-law Josette and Scott Hess of Dover, PA., one son and daughter-in-law David and Christy McMillion of Rougemont, NC., five grandchildren, Jesse, Andrew, Karla, Christopher and Araya. In addition to his parents Mr. McMillion was preceded in death by a grandson Steven, three sisters Goldie, Nina Mae, and Ruth and by six brothers Raymond, Harry, Cecil, Ed, Earl and Carlis. A graveside service will be held Monday April 18, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until time for the graveside service at Skyline Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lane-McMillion scholarship fund c/o of Steubenville High School, 420 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, OH 43952.
