Mr. Gary Chester Holder

Mr. Gary Chester Holder age 75 of 271 Boyles St., Pilot Mountain, NC husband of Mrs. Joye Norman Holder passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at his home. He was born October 21, 1936 in Surry County to the late Arley and Della Hall Holder. He served his country in the US Navy and was retired from Wilson Pest Control. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Joye N, Holder of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Rev. Ty Harrison, Hillsville, VA, two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Kim Holder, Mt Airy, Kelly and Jill Holder, Mt. Airy and Gwen Holder, Mt. Airy, seven grandchildren, Joye Harrison, Elizabeth Harrison and Lydia Harrison all of Hillsville, VA, Mady Holder, Alex Holder, Logan Holder and Ian Holder all of Mt. Airy, a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Gene Bennett, Chattanooga, TN, a sister in-law and husband, Joyce N. and Jerry Parker, Maryville, TN. Funeral services will be held 3:30 pm Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Chris McMillian , Rev. Noel Hawks , Rev. Mike Parker and Rev. Ty Harrison. Burial will follow in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home.
