Mr. George Massey

Mr. George Massey, age 90 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on December 2, 1926 to the late Charlie and Janie Justice Massey. In addition to his parents, Mr. Massey was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lankford Massey; and five brothers, Al, George, Tom, William, and Roy Massey. He had retired from J.P. Stevens Rubber Thread.

Mr. Massey is survived by a sister-in-law, Pauline Nelson; several nephews and nieces; and his caretaker, Tommy David Massey.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Shepherd officiating. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
