Mr. George Daniel Ross

Mr. George Daniel Ross, age 66, of Stuart, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2006 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on March 19, 1940 to the late Richard and Elsie Spencer Ross. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ross was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Buster and Richard Rucker.
Mr. Ross is survived by his wife, Marva Ohara Ross of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two sons, Mandell Ross and Curtis Ross, both of Philadelphia; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; five brothers, Richard, Raymond, Ralph, Billy and Darnell Ross, all of Philadelphia; two sisters, Barbara Jean Martin of Philadelphia and Phyllis Newton of New Jersey; two half-sisters, Lorraine Rucker Tatum and Rachel Hughes, both of Stuart; and one half-brother, Ronald Rucker, both of Stuart.
Funeral services for Mr. Ross will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. James Houchins. Burial will follow in the Ross-Morris-Loggins Family Cemetery.
