Mr. Gerald Robert Michaud

Mr. Gerald Robert Michaud, 61, of Mount Airy, passed away Thursday morning, May 17, 2012, at his home. Mr. Michaud was born December 17, 1950, in Van Buren, ME, the son of the late Alphe Michaud and Evelyne Comeau Michaud. Mr. Michaud was employed by The L.S. Starrett Company and a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Marie Laperriere Michaud of the home; two daughters, Melissa Ann Davis and Sadie Lynn Schneider; a son, Jeffrey David Michaud; two grandchildren, Hannah Marie Holloway and Maiya Eve Davis; two sisters, Barbara Thibodeau and Diane Gallant; and five brothers, Daniel Michaud, Raymond Michaud, Donald Michaud, Ronald Michaud, and Patrick Michaud. In addition to his parents, Mr. Michaud was preceded in death by a brother, James Michaud. A memorial mass will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Holy Angels Catholic Church, with Father Eric Kowalski officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Moody Funeral Home on Saturday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
