Mr. Glenn Davis Holt

Mr. Glenn Davis Holt, age 69, of Mount airy passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Surry Community Health and Rehab. He was born December 5, 1948 to the late Ernest and Lois Woods Holt. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memories are a daughter Megan Holt - Smith and husband Zachary; a son Brandon Holt; brothers, Cecil Holt, Clarence Holt, and Guy Holt as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda K Holt, and a brother Billy Holt. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Woodland Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice and those of Surry Community Health and rehab for their care and compassion shown to the family and to Mr. Holt during his time of illness.
