Mr. Grady Steven Collins

Mr. Grady Steven Collins, 64, of Pilot Mountain passed away suddenly and went to be with Jesus on Saturday, December, 17, 2016. He was born in Surry County on February 7, 1952 to Lela Mae Hunt Collins and the late Grady Marion Collins. A man who touched many lives with his contagious laughter, sense of humor, love and concern for everyone around him. Always humble, Grady gave advice, love and was a mentor to many, especially his family and co-workers. A man who would give his all, in everything he did. Grady was a welder and pipe fitter for more than 45 years and always eager to teach anyone who was willing to learn. Grady was man who will greatly be missed, by everyone, who was blessed to have him in their lives. In addition to his mother, Grady is survived by children, Joey Gray Collins, Brandy Collins Bass, and Derick Steven Collins; grandchildren, Amber Butner, Cody Collins, Austin Collins, Olivia Collins and Landon Collins; siblings, Vickie Lynn Collins Heath, Cathy Ann Collins, Mark Anthony Collins, Sandra Kay Collins, Teresa Lyons and Gail Sue Dowell. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Cedar Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Collins officiating.
