Mr. Hamon Wilson

Mr. Hamon Wilson, age 97 of Patrick Springs, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Patrick County on November 17, 1910 to the late James A. and Rebecca Martin Wilson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Mabe Wilson, a daughter, Doris Wood; a son, R. J. Wilson; and several sisters and brothers.
Mr. Wilson is survived by four grandchildren, Sandra W. Barrow, Bruce Wood, Jay Hamon Wilson and Ronnie Wood; six great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mr. Wilson will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Aaron's Corner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Ken Hopkins officiating.
