Mr. Harles Mathew Goins

Mr. Harles Mathew Goins, age 76 of Chatham, LA, passed away May 1, 2016 in Chatham, LA. Mr. Goins was born on November 19, 1939 in Patrick County, VA to the late James and Amy Goins. He was raised in Sanford, NC. Mr. Goins is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Delores Goins Hunter of Raleigh and Amy “Beth” Goins Campbell and husband, Donnie of Sanford; three sons, James Roy Goins of Chatham, LA, Phillip Andrew Goins of Chatham, LA, and Tony Alan Goins of Fayetteville; two sister and brothers-in-law, Elaine Causey and husband Larry of Sanford and Robin Frye and husband Harry of Carthage; three brothers, Roy Nelson Goins of Amelia, LA, J.M. Goins of Siler City, and Roger Goins of Sanford; one sister-in-law, Martha Goins of Jonesville, LA; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. Goins was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Goins. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy.
