Mr. Harry Wade Bowman, Sr

Mr. Harry Wade Bowman, Sr., 65, of Mt. Airy passed away at his home, Tuesday, August 9, 2016. He was born September 5, 1950 in Surry County to the late William Hobart and Renie Niten Bowman. He worked in construction and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Vern Wright, Tony and Steve Arnett; two sons, Bucky Bowman, Dwayne Bowman; grandchildren, Andrew Knott, Houston Bowman, Donna Wright, Laykon Chandler, Phoenix Lynch, Hunter Lynch, Devin Lynch, Diesel Lynch, River Lynch, Trey Arnett, David Bowman; great grandchildren, Jolee, Asher, Cyris, Mercadies, Harley, Diamond, Angel , Kendall and Raleigh; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beatrice and Claude Miles, Earline Smoak, Frances and Junior Payne, Jean Horton and Evelyn Donathan; brothers and sister-in-law, William and Dolly Bowman, Ralph Bowman, Benny Bowman and Glenn Bowman and a special nephew, Jason Donathan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by three brothers, Early Bowman, Joe Edward Bowman and Charles Dean Bowman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Wall officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyree Bowman Family Cemetery.
