Mr. Harry B. Johnson

Mr. Harry Bror Johnson, age 90, of Florida and formerly of Patrick County, passed away on Monday March 19, 2007. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Gustav W. and Anna Hakanson Johnson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie B. Johnson. He had served in the United States Army during World War II, and had retired as a Division Credit Manager for J. P. Stevens.
Mr. Johnson is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Alan B. and Maureen Johnson; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara J. and Bill Sofield; one sister, Dorothy J. Mills; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Stuart Baptist Church with Dr. Clint Hopkins and Rev. Jonathan Lange officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettle Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
