Mr. Henry Lee Pullins

Mr. Henry Lee Pullins, age 74, of Stuart, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 at the home of his son in Yonkers, New York. He was born in Pageton, West Virginia on April 13, 1935. He was a longtime member of Mount Calvary Holy Church where he served as a deacon and superintendent. He retired from Sara Lee Industries with over 35 years of service. Mr. Pullins was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Sue Pullins; one daughter, Annie Marie Pullins; his father, Fletcher Pullins; and one brother, Fletcher Pullins, Jr.
Mr. Pullins is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Carol Pullins of Yonkers, New York; his mother, Martha Phillips Pullins of Stuart; two brothers, Laymon Pullins of Mt. Vernon, New York and James Garfield Pullins of New Rochelle, New York; and ten sisters, Genetta Moore of Portsmoth, Ohio, Della Pilson of Woolwine, Gertrude Harris of Fieldale, Mattie Scott of High Point, North Carolina, Dorothy Pullins of Stuart, Irene Stubblefield of Reidsville, North Carolina, and Glenda Joseph, Hattie Pullins, Marquenta Pullins and Alesia Bratton, all of Mount Vernon.
Funeral services for Mr. Pullins will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Joseph G. Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Community Cemetery.
