Mr. Herbert Willard Haynes

Mr. Herbert Willard Haynes, age 74 of Cana, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at his home. Mr. Haynes was born in Carroll County on April 14, 1942 to J. Garfield and Hester Hiatt Haynes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Surviving is his devoted wife, Ruby Lucas Haynes; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and James Conley and Karen and Doug McMillian; sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert Jr. and Emily Haynes and Jason and Liana Haynes; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by sisters, Myrtle Ayers, Mae Haynes and Ila McMillian and brothers, Jim Haynes and Bryant Haynes. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dennis Bledsoe. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6;00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
