Mr. Howard Lee Lewis

Mr. Howard Lee Lewis, age 70 of Patrick Springs passed away Saturday at his home. He was born on April 2, 1941 in Elkin, NC to the late Troy Lee Lewis and Forrest York Lewis. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Dan Madison Lewis. Mr. Lewis retired from VDOT and was a longtime member of Stella Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Margaret Hopkins Lewis of the home; two daughters, Mildred Lewis Spence of Stella, Connie Lee Lewis of Bassett; two grandchildren, Justin Napier, Cory Hylton; one great granddaughter, Ella Garrison; two sisters, Joann Barbour of Danville, Sylvia Rice of Rocky Mt.; and three brothers, Mack, Jerry, and Tony Lewis all of Patrick Springs.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Stella Christian Church with Pastors Louis Hall and Steve Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
