Mr. Howard Thompson”Hootie” Sneed Jr.

Mr. Howard “Hootie” Sneed Jr , age 51 of Elkin passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Hugh Chatham Medical Center in Elkin. Mr. Sneed was born July 26, 1964 in Guilford County to the late Howard Thompson Sneed Sr. and Bonnie Burch Sneed. He worked at Absolute Auto and was loved by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife CeeCee Sneed of Greensboro; step-daughter Casey Kirchner of Greensboro; step-sons, John and Jim Kirchner of Greensboro; sisters Tina Sneed Arrington of Elkin and Cindy Sneed Vawter of Ararat; brothers, Willie Sneed of Mount Airy, D.L. Brady of Mount Airy, Brian Mauldin of Mount Airy and Charles Menard of Madison; nieces and nephews. Elise Austin, Andrew Vawter, Toby Potts, Johnathan Gardner and Kassie Sneed.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A private Memorial Service will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, may be made to the organization of the Donor’s choice.
