Mr. J. Donald "Duck" Wimbish

Mr. James Donald "Duck" Wimbish, age 67 of Stuart passed away Saturday morning at the RJR Patrick Community Hospital. He was born on Aug. 27, 1939 in Patrick County to the late James Paris Wimbish and Geneva Wood Wimbish. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Dale Wimbish and Glenda Gale Wimbish. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a life member of the Jaycees, a charter member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and was retired from Virginia Narrow Fabrics.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Evelyn Lee Wimbish of the home; one daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Bill Crowther of Reedville, VA; two granddaughters, Carrie Elizabeth Crowther, Katie Crowther; and one brother, Linwood "Babe" Wimbish of Ridgeway.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor J.R. Rakes officiating. Burial will follow in the Patrick Memorial Gardens.
