Mr. Jack Clating King

Mr. Jack Clating King, 84, of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Westchester Manor in High Point. He was born in Surry County on February 21, 1933 to the late Wilburn Parrish and Annie Mae Thacker King. Mr. King was retired from Schneider Electric and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia and Fred Roberts, Robin and Wesley Logan; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Daphne King, and Nell King; a loving niece, Linda Hensley and husband Frank, and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. King was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Kuykendall; brothers, Tom, Wallace, Harry, Jim, and Vance King. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Hensley, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
