Mr. Jackson Bob Freeman

Mr. Jackson Bob Freeman, age 92, of Pleasant Garden, NC, formally of Surry County, NC passed away at his home on Saturday morning October 27, 2012. He was born in Surry County on August 1, 1920 to the late Vance and Rosie Belle Jones Freeman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Stanley Freeman; four brothers, and two sisters. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII, and also was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. Surviving are one daughter Brenda Campbell of Pleasant Garden, NC; one step-son Jackie Freeman of Elkin; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters Margie Cockerham of Jonesville, Geneva Key of Dobson, Nettie Childress of Kernersville. Funeral services will be held Monday October 29, 2012 3:00 P.M. at Union Cross Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Union Cross Baptist Church Cemetery. The services will be conducted by Rev. Marty Reece and Brother Lonnie Freeman. The Family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
