Mr. James Letch Bledsoe Jr

Mr. James Letch Bledsoe Jr., 67, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Left to cherish his memories are a daughter, Chanin Pickens, a son and daughter-in-law; Keith and Melissa Pickens, four grandchildren; Brandon, Bobby, and Olivia Pickens, Haley and Matt Bratton, one great-grandchild; Nash Bratton, a brother; Joe Bledsoe, sister-in-law; Mary Bledsoe, a special friend; Haywood Easter, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Bledsoe was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Bledsoe, a brother Ralph Bledsoe. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Beulah United Methodist Church with services conducted by Rev. Nelson Parker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by VFW post 9436 of Mt. Airy. . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
