Mr. James Franklin Donathan

Mr. James Franklin Donathan, age 69 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. He was born in Patrick County on February 17, 1938 to the late Grover and Mary Bowman Donathan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Donathan was preceded in death by one sister, Myrtle Pack. He had been employed with the Virginia Department of Transportation for 27 years.
Mr. Donathan is survived by two sisters, Bertie Tilley of Lawsonville, North Carolina and Mary Atkins of Walkertown, North Carolina; and special friends, Gracie, Brenda and Princess Pack.
Funeral services for Mr. Donathan will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Ricky Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery.
