Mr. James Hasten "Jay" Dowell

Mr. James Hasten "Jay" Dowell, age 72 of Cana, VA passed away at his home, Sunday, November 20, 2011. Mr. Dowell was born in Carroll County VA on October 23, 1939 to the late David Cleveland and Sarah Jane Richardson Dowell. He was a retired produce dealer and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Dowell is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, W.C. and Judy Dowell of Cana and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dowell was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Dowell. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
