Mr. James Claude Bullins, Jr. Edwards

Mr. James Claude Bullins, Jr. Edwards, 67 , of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was born in Pulaski, VA on March 8, 1949 to the late James Claude and Elsie Mae Gallimore Bullins. He bravely served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Edwards was a member of New Life Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Gail Mavis Edwards; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Anders and Steve; his son and daughter-in-law, Darren Bullins and Natasha and several grandchildren; his sisters and a brother-in-law, Carolyn and Rev. Darrell Gray, Jo Ann Oliver and Laviva Bullins; his brother, William “Bill” Bullins. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 13, 2016 at New Life Baptist Chuch with Rev. Gray Kirkman and Rev. Darrell Gray officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by the VFW Honor Guard Mt. Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436.
