Mr. James Ervin Gray

Mr. James Ervin Gray, age 77 of Westfield, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at his home. He was born in Stokes County on April 30, 1930 to the late William Edgar "Babe" Gray and Laura Slate Gray. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Barbour Gray, and four brothers, Lloyd, Noel, Guy and Raymond Gray. He was a member of Collinstown Presbyterian Church, and was retired from the United Elastic Corporation.
Mr. Gray is survived by one son, Marvin Gray of Westfield; one brother, Johnnie Gray of Westfield; and three sisters, Irene Dalton of Westfield, Lena Mitchell of Germanton, North Carolina, and Virginia Hill of Westfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Collinstown Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tracy Collins and Johnnie Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Collinstown Presbyterian Church.
