Mr. James Lonnie Hodges, Jr

Mr. James Lonnie Hodges, Jr., age 46 of Patrick Springs, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He was born in Surry County, North Carolina on March 2, 1965 to the late James L. Hodges, Sr. and Mary Louise Mull Hodges. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon "Butch" Hodges; a great-niece, Erica "Nikki" Belcher and a very special friend, James Glenn Beasley. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Hodges is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and James Beasley of Patrick Springs; one brother and sister in law, Howard and Tamaron Hodges of San Diego, CA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Hodges will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Minister Mike Price officiating. A graveside service will be held in the New Life Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Airy, North Carolina Saturday at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
