Mr. James Lewis "Buck" Johnson

Mr. James Lewis "Buck" Johnson, age 47 passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 in Goldsboro. Mr. Johnson was born in Surry County on June 12, 1963 to Georgia Ethel Culler Johnson and the late Oliver Lee Johnson. He is survived by his mother, Georgia Ethel Culler Johnson of Mt. Airy; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susie and Randy Jones of Cana, and Karen Whitby of Atlantic Beach, NC; nephews, Tyler Johnson and wife, Brandy, Scotty Jones and wife, Courtney, and Ryan Jones; great nieces and nephew, Candice and Caleb Johnson and Rayne Jones. In addition to his father, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Sue Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Blue Ridge Tabernacle conducted by Rev. Rev. Noel Hawks. Burial will follow in the Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Georgia Johnson at 123 Lynnhaven Rd, Mt. Airy, NC 6-8 pm Tuesday. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is assisting the Johnson Family.
