Mr. James Roscoe “Jimmy” Marshall, 69, of Ararat, VA passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Stuart, VA. He was born in Surry County to Joyce Culler Marshall and the late James Roscoe Marshall, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 22, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arlis Thomas officiating. A private burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
