Mr. James Paul "Jamie" McAdams

Mr. James Paul "Jamie" McAdams, age 29 of Stuart passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013. He was born in Patrick County on April 23, 1984, and was preceded in death by his adoptive mother, Mary McAdams, and his grandfather, James Nash DeHart. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan, was a fan of Nascar racing, and was a wonderful father who will be greatly missed.
Mr. McAdams is survived by his son, Isaiah Foley of the home; his fiancé, Kayla Foley of the home; his father, John Edgar McAdams of Stuart; his mother, Amy Louise DeHart Wilson of Roanoke; his adoptive father, Junior McAdams of Stuart; six brothers, Paul Junior McAdams, Timothy Eugene McAdams and David Ray McAdams, all of Stuart, Ricky Lee McAdams of Pennsylvania, Austin Dakota McAdams and Justin Tyler McAdams, both of Axton; one sister, Harley Nicole McAdams of Axton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Clint Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairystone Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home.
